Name/Nicknames: Camig Lynden AKA Cammi
Gender: Female
Rank/Position: Bar staff
Age: 24
Birthplace: Chicago, Illinois

Physical Description: A short, slender young woman whose balance was never quite right. She has full breasts and full hips, and is very proud of her well muscled arms. No matter how much time she spends outdoors, her nearly albino skin always fails to tan. At most, she gets freckles. Her hair is short and dark brown with slightly red tints to it. Most of the time, her eyebrows are cocked in a way that makes her look ironic or downright confused. Her eyes are large and almond shaped, and a steely grey color. She has scars on her back from a near escape from Thread. She used to hate them, but now sports them as a battle wound.

Personality: A firecracker, she saves her patience for children and saints. All others are likely victims of her wrath. She enjoys the occassional drink, and is often frustrated at Zreig's attempt to get her to quite her nightly beer down at the bar. While she may seem mild and fun at first, it does not take much to set her off. Many people are confused by her at first since she tends to alternate between being a mild-mannered mother of two and a hell-cat. Those who get close to her, however, get to see the toll that stress takes on her and get to see the tender, sad side of her.

Background: Camig grew up in a relatively boring atmosphere, not something someone would expect since she grew up in a very large city. Her family made sure that she was very protected, and was never witness to the beatings and robings that occured only a few blocks down from their flat. Being wealthy, she hardly lacked in anything, but the smothering bothered her. When her parents, both entrepanuers, signed up for the expedition, she eagerly rubbed it in her friends' faces. She was going to a new planet, free of war and crime, and they had to stay on boring, dirty old Earth.

Life started out fine, with both her parents becoming fairly good at the trades they had forgotten they had. Her mother Rowyn took up as a seamstress, and her father Viktor managed the money side of business. Feeling that Pern was a safe place, she was allowed to scamper about with her other friends. As she grew older, she led adventures out into the wild, encountering the strange, wild dragonets, and other creatures of Pern. Eventually, her wanderings made her so wild in nature that she hardly returned home, happy enough to wander from one friend's house to another. Her parents, satisfied that she was in no real danger, let her do as she pleased. Rowyn, never a fan of the dragonets, actually preferred the girl not bring the creatures into her house.

By the time danger was established on Pern, it was too late, and Camig, as well as her parents, were caught out in a Fall. Her parents were destroyed almost immediately, and only the quick action of a neighbor saved the girl from being entirely enveloped by the small patch that landed on her back. She was bed ridden for several months, and spent a year and a half rebuilding the muscle that she had lost in the disaster. What hurt her worse, she did not know. The loss of her parents, or the loss of two dragonets that she had been particularly well bonded with. However, she was well cared for, and managed to recover fully, though for a long time, she was ashamed of the horrendous scarring on her back.

As she grew older, she gained work at the bar, and impressed the other bar tenders with her skills in mixing and serving drinks. She was well liked, and her temper got her quite the reputation when several well-meaning suitors were turned down vehemently. Goading her into anger became a dangerous, but amusing game at the bar, but it was quickly ended when she broke a tray of glasses in the process of hurdling them at someone who went too far in the teasing, and remarked on her scars. After that, she learned to carry her scars with pride, and very few had the nerve to remark on them.

Shortly after that, she fell in love with two little girls, Malaika and Dinah, who had both been orphaned due to the falling spores. The two girls became attached to her, and soon began to see her as their mother. Camig, living a fairly lonely life, took the two girls under her arms and cared for them as if they had been born her own. A year or so after she adopted the two girls, she stumbled into Zreig, a man that would frustrate her, but would eventually become one of the most important figures in her life. When he gave up drinking, and welcomed her daughters into his life, she knew right away she had found the fabled "One". The girls at the bar continue to joke with her about Zreig and her's rocky, but loving relationship. Over time, as Zreig was rebuilding his relationship with Loretta, she became good friends with his sister.

Like Zreig, Camig entered an application with hopes of being accepted as a candidate. She worries at times about her daughters, but knows there are plenty of kind people that would care for them when she could not.
