I use a lot of Disney jargon in my writing, so I've typed up a glossary with some terms I may use. Please feel free to E-mail me if something is missing. Black is something not necessarily Disney related.

Animal Kingdom: A Disney theme park down here that features lots of animals but few attractions. Their slogan is "Nahtazu." (Say it to yourself out-loud.) You keep telling yourself that, AK.
Backlot Tour: An attraction at Disney-MGM that one of my roommates works on.
Chattam: Technically spelled Chatham, but I can't spell. One of the apartment buildings that CPs live in. It's really nice, I hear.
Cinderella Castle: Our castle at the Magic Kingdom.
Cinderellabration: A mushy show performed in front of Cinderella Castle at the Magic Kingdom where the princesses parade around with their male escorts.
Commons: The apartment complex the international students who work at Epcot live in.
Contemporary: A Disney resort that is along the monorail. I stayed there in 2002 because Shades of Green was being remodeled.
CP: Short for College Program. Slang for those of us who are college students foolish enough to lend our freedom to Disney.
Disney: The company I work for.
Double: The bigger sized stroller than can officially carry up to 100 pounds, but they do fine when we ride in them on our stroller races.
Dynamic: The shady bus company who provides our transportation. "Rides better than Dynamic" is a popular slogan, but isn't saying much.
ECV: Electronic convenience vehicles. The electric wheelchairs we rent at Magic Kingdom that are the butt of many jokes.
Ellen's Energy Adventure: My favorite ride at Epcot starring Ellen and Bill Nye the Science Guy.
Epcot: My favorite Disney theme park. It's the one with Spaceship Earth, the giant golf ball.
Emporium: The largest gift shop at the Magic Kingdom that stretches the entire left-hand side of Main Street. I worked here a few times.
Flights of Wonder: The bird show at Animal Kingdom.
Guest: What we call customers at Disney. Yes, you have to pay to be our guests down here, unless you visit Downtown Disney, which even has free parking. (Tip: If you come here and drive, park at Downtown Disney and take the bus to the Contemporary then walk to the Magic Kingdom so you don't have to pay for parking.)
Hall of Presidents: An attraction in Liberty Square at the Magic Kingdom.
Happiest Celebration on Earth: What is going on right now. A celebration of Disneyland's 50th anniversary.
Honey I Shrunk the Audience: My favorite 3D show, which is found at Epcot.
iBook: The kind of computer I have. A small, white laptop made by Apple.
iPod: Apple's MP3 player. Mine is a pink, 4 gig iPod mini.
Kali River Rapids: Also called "Kali." A river-raft ride at Animal Kingdom.
Magic Kingdom Also known as the "Tragic Kingdom." Where I work, and the most popular park here.
Main Street: The section of the Magic Kingdom I work in. The front area of the park.
MGM: Short for Disney-MGM Studios, a Disney theme park down here.
Monorail: A form of transportation between the Magic Kingdom, Epcot, and some of our hotels. Please do not call it a "tram" or a "train" in front of me! Fortunately, people from Seattle can get the name right.
Newsstand: A giftshop at the front of the Magic Kingdom I sometimes work in.
Operations: The people who work on attractions, do crowd control, and drive the parking shuttles.
People Mover: The old name (and one I use) for my favorite attraction at the Magic Kingdom, the Tomorrowland Transit Authority.
Queue: Line-up area of the ride.
Quick Serve: A counter service, fast food restaurant.
Safeway
: The grocery store I worked at before I came here.
RCT: Roller Coaster Tycoon
: A computer game where you can make your own theme park.
Single: The smaller stroller we rent.
Shades of Green: The military hotel my family stays at when they come here.
Spectromagic: The Magic Kingdom's nighttime parade.
Star Tours: My favorite attraction at MGM. A motion simulator based on the Star Wars movies. The queue includes an Ewok village, how cool is that?
Station Break: The gift shop under the train station that we rent lockers in. I have a few of the castle, Cinderellabration, and the paraids. CDS randomly assigns me here almost everyday.
TTC: Ticket and Transportation Center: the transportation hub for Disney guests.
Wishes: The fireworks show currently performed nightly at the Magic Kingdom. One of my many new Disney talents includes working while ignoring the fireworks overhead.
World Showcase: The section of Epcot that is filled with Eurocentric stereotypes of countries around our world.
